"Ugh. I wanted to strangle somebody," said Martha Anderson about the way she felt when she went outside Tuesday morning.
"The reindeer were getting ready to take off, like they just left presents," said Anderson.
Her husband, 70-year-old Ken Anderson, said thieves took all their holiday decorations, including two light-up reindeer, a sleigh and a waving Santa.
The Andersons live in southwest Fort Worth where police say thieves are going around stealing everything from Santa to Frosty while homeowners sleep.
"We had lost part of the candy canes and a Santa and reindeer that we've had for like 30 years," said Debbie Hunt, who lives near the Andersons. The theft took place last Tuesday.
"Then Saturday night, they hit us again and took another deer," she said.
Hunt said she isn't letting that discourage her. She added a little something extra to her holiday display.
"They aren't going to take away our spirit of the season just because they want to be Scrooge or Grinch," she said.
Even though the lights on top of their house are all that is left of their holiday display, the Andersons still count themselves lucky.
"We're blessed because no one was hurt....again," said Martha. The Andersons' house was also broken into just a few weeks ago.
"They stole my guns, my laptop, my wife's jewelry and cash," said Ken. "I think they ought to be shot."
Only a few victims have been able to give police clues to the suspects. They say the thieves take off in a dark colored truck or car.
