Man Arrested For Murder Over Alleged $50 Dispute

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― An arrest has been made in the case of a Dallas man reportedly killed over $50.

Calvin Williams was charged with the Jan. 12 murder of 55-year-old Michael Kimble Thursday.

According to police, Williams brutally beat and repeatedly stabbed the 55-year-old before physically dragging his body and dumping it near a building on Forest Avenue.

Family members tell CBS 11 News that Kimble had gotten into a fight with Williams, who kept demanding to get paid for a construction job.

According to them, the amount being demanded was no more than $50, and that is the reason Kimble was killed.
