An American Airlines plane bound for DFW International Airport made an emergency landing in California early Wednesday morning.
About 215 passengers were on the flight from Honolulu to DFW when it landed at 2 a.m. at LAX.
In an American Airlines statement, officials said the pilot said the plane "was experiencing a flap switch problem and as a precaution diverted the flight into LAX."
Ground technicians at LAX evaluated the aircraft and re-boarded everyone about 2 hours later back in route for DFW.
No one was injured.
