Police Need Help Identifying Amnesia Victim
DALLAS (CBS 11 News) ―
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman suffering from amnesia.
The woman was found in Dallas on July 18th, and taken to Parkland Hospital.
After being diagnosed with amnesia the woman was taken to the Terrell State Hospital.
Police are calling the case extremely unusually since no one has reported the woman missing.
"The last thing she can remember is being in the New Orleans Airport possibly, driving a white car; we don't know what make or model," said Sgt. Ken McKeown, Terrell Police Department.
On the Texas Missing Persons website the 'Jane Doe' is listed in good physical condition.
The woman is white, stands approximately 5'5" tall and weighs 165 pounds. The 'Jane Doe', who wears silver wire frame glasses, is in her late 20's to early 30's, has brown shoulder length hair and hazel eyes. She has a tattoo of a black floral pattern that covers her lower back, a scar over her right eye and in the area of her navel.
"I've been with Terrell police a little over 14 years and this is the first time I've ever been asked to try and identify an individual who has amnesia
who just does not know who they are at all," McKeown said.
Anyone with information about the woman is asked to contact the Terrell Police Department at 972-551-6622 or the Texas Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 800-346-3243.
