A fourth person has died from injuries from a November bus crash along Interstate 40 near Forrest City.
Arkansas State Police say Maria Del Carmen Fuentes Vallejo of Plano, Ill., died Saturday at a Memphis, Tenn., hospital, where she had been since the Nov. 25 accident.
State police say Felix Badillo Tapia was driving the Tornado Bus carrying 47 people from Chicago to Dallas when it crossed a median. Two people on the bus were killed, as was the driver of a pickup truck that was struck. More than 20 people were injured.
Officials say the state police report on the accident is still awaiting toxicology reports on Tapia. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is also investigating.
