Brent Barry Agrees To 2-Year Deal With Rockets

Free agent guard Brent Barry today has reached a two-year contract agreement with the Houston Rockets.
Barry has played 13 years in the NBA, including five with the Seattle SuperSonics and the last four with the San Antonio Spurs. Barry was traded to the Sonics last season but was later released back to the Spurs.
Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tells Houston television station KRIV -- quote-- "We are excited to add his championship leadership and experience to our club" -- end quote.
Barry has averaged 9.7 points, 3.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds a game in his career. Injuries limited his playing time last year. He averaged 7.1 points, 1.7 assists and just under two rebounds a game in 31 games.
Barry was part of two championship Spurs teams.
