Work Begins On Carrollton To Denton Rail Line

DENTON (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― To help ease congestion, work began Monday on a new passenger rail line in Denton County.

The A-Train is a planned 21-mile stretch of track that will connect Carrollton to Denton.

This week workers are clearing brush to make way for a bike trail that will extend the entire length of the commuter rail.

The A-Train line is scheduled to open in December of 2010.
