Woman Admits To Texas Porn Video Of Grandkids

MARSHALL (AP) ― A woman prosecutors say helped make a graphic videotape of her two visiting grandkids has pleaded guilty in a child pornography case.

The U.S. Attorney's Office on Friday announced 51-year-old Denise Ward of Overland Park, Kan., pleaded guilty to coerced sexual activity.

Ward was living in Harrison County, Texas, at the time of the May 2000 incident. Longview police assisted in the investigation.

Details on the children, who were 10 and 11 at the time of the videotaping, have not been released.

Information presented in court indicates Ward helped produce a tape in which her grandchildren were photographed nude. Prosecutors say the parents were not aware of the videotaping.

Ward late Thursday pleaded in federal court in Marshall.

She remains in custody. Ward faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000.00. No sentencing date was immediately set.
