Police: Man In Child Porn Operation Arrested

RICHARDSON (CBS 11 News) ― A child porn operation led two police agencies to a North Texas man.

Detectives say 38-year-old Edward Adam Koviac sent child pornography over the internet and arranged a meeting with a minor in south Texas. But Koviac never showed up.

Burleson police went to the Koviac's home only to find that he was staying at an apartment in Richardson.

"We ran a search warrant, and during the search, we found some evidence of child pornography," said Lt. Mike Scott of the Richardson Police Department. "He was subsequently charged with child pornography here in Richardson."

Richardson police also arrested Koviac for online solicitation of a minor.

Police took computers from both locations.

Koviac is being held at the Richardson jail.
