Ron Kirk May Be Witness In Dallas Corruption Case

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― One of President Barack Obama's cabinet members may be called to testify in the Dallas City Hall public corruption trial.

US Trade Representative and former Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk is among those on a witness list for developer Brian Potashnik and his wife Cheryl.

They are among seven people who will stand trial next Monday in the extortion and bribery case.

Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson and former HUD secretary Henry Cisneros are among those who may be called to testify by former Dallas Mayor pro-tem Don Hill.
