Feds Unveil More Evidence In City Hall Probe

Court Filing Lists Evidence Against Hill, Hodge, Others

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Newly released documents in the Dallas City Hall corruption case outline additional evidence against former and current elected leaders.

U.S. District Judge Barbara Lynn unsealed the documents Wednesday morning after federal prosecutors filed them under seal.

The new information offers details about former Dallas Mayor Pro Tempore Don Hill, his current wife and former campaign consultant Sheila Farrington, former Dallas Plan Commissioner D'Angelo Lee, developer Brian Potashnik and his wife Cheryl, and State Representative Terri Hodge.

They were among the 16 people charged in a sweeping indictment last fall.

They have each pleaded not guilty in the extortion and bribery probe and are scheduled to go to trial this January.

In some cases, the evidence listed is of other crimes they allegedly committed but are not charged with.

In other cases, prosecutors say the evidence provides a motive to commit various offenses.
