Family Still Searching For Clues Year After Murder

Reporting

DALLAS (CBS 11 News) ―
One year ago, a man was shot and killed in front of his family in Dallas.
Police say the gunman was driving a small SUV when he pulled along side the family's vehicle at the intersection of Abrams and Walnut in Dallas near Richardson.
Kenneth Woolsey, 41, was in the front passenger seat. His wife was driving and their son, just nine-years-old at the time, was in the backseat.
The shooting remains unsolved.
The victim's brother, Mark Woolsey, has not stopped trying to attract new leads in the case.
"I loved my brother. We all did. We miss him," he said.
Not a day goes by that Mark doesn't think about his brother. He wears a black arm band in his brother's memory.
"Nothing's going to bring him back, but it's my way of saying my brother meant something to me... my brother meant something to a lot of people around us," he said.
The family had just returned to North Texas after living in England for eight years. Mark said his sister-in-law was driving so she could get used to driving in the United States once again.
"They knew someone behind them was agitated, and they were really just trying to get out of the way," he said.
To this day, Woolsey said his sister-in-law still can't talk about their ordeal publicly.
"It's just been very difficult for her and for her son," he said.
While Dallas police released a sketch of the suspected gunman, the killer is still out there.
But police say this random act of violence is rare.
"It's not the normal way we have things happen here in the homicide unit here in Dallas, but when it does happen, we treat it like every other situation," said Craig Miller, Dallas Police Department. "Unfortunately, we don't have any leads even after a full year later."
Police and the Woolseys are hoping someone who knows something about what happened will come forward.
"We just all want to see this resolved," Mark said. "We want to see justice done."
If you have any information about this case, you're asked to call Dallas police.
