I-35 SB Reopens In Denton County After Fatal

Multi-Vehicle Accident Backs Up Traffic At Lake Lewisville Bridge, I-35

(CBS 11 News) At least one person died and several were injured Tuesday morning during an early morning accident at Interstate 35 and the Lake Lewisville bridge.

The southbound lanes of the interstate remain shut down as emergency crews continue to clean up the scene.

According to reports, at least three others also were injured in the multi-vehicle accident.

Denton County commuters were stuck in the traffic gridlock because the backup extended to Church Drive at one time.
