Local Summer Camp Teaches Etiquette, Manners

COLLEYVILLE (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Teaching your child manners and etiquette can be a challenge. But at one Colleyville summer camp, some young North Texans say they're having fun mastering these social skills.

The company, Royal Keys, has provided these classes on the west coast for more than 20 years. Franchisee Christie Teller is introducing this California concept to Texas.

"I have three kids, and I know what's it's like. Having a resource like this is fantastic," Teller said. "What an opportunity to have a little help in teaching your kids these lifelong skills."

Royal Keys offers 35 classes ranging from basic etiquette to bully-proofing. They are provided through schools, community centers and clubs in several North Texas communities.
