Tarrant Medical Examiner Rules On Hand Mystery

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 News) ―

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office says a mysterious find in a Fort Worth freezer is not a pair of human hands.

The find -- which Fort Worth Police initially believed to be of human origin -- was determined by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office Saturday to be meat stuffed into a pair of plastic gloves.

The "hands" were found by a man moving into an apartment in Fort Worth's Hospital District Friday afternoon.

According to neighbors the previous tenants moved out at the end of June.
