Family Found Dead In Garland Apartment
GARLAND (CBS 11 News/AP) ―
A family was found dead inside their Garland apartment.
Garland police say the bodies of Robert and Tammy Andrews and their 17-year-old daughter Sarah were found Tuesday morning. The family dog was also shot and killed.
It appears, police say, Robert shot his family before killing himself.
The last time neighbors saw the family was Saturday afternoon. Police aren't sure when the shooting actually happened.
Garland police say co-workers went to his home after he hadn't been at work the last couple days. Apartment workers opened the door and discovered the bodies.
Robert owned Eagle Transmission on Plano Road. There was a sign on the business door Tuesday that read, "Due to death in the family... we're closed."
It is believed that the family moved to the Dallas area from Colorado about a year ago.
