Garland Crews Battle Warehouse Fire

GARLAND (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Garland firefighters battled a large warehouse fire for more than an hour Saturday at the intersections of Walnut and 1st Street.

The fire was reported just after 7 p.m. at the single-story wood frame structure, which according to records is registered to Garland ISD.  

Chopper 11 captured video of the roof collapse and crews on the ground with both ladder and ground-level hoses working to extinguish the fire.



Crews closed off several streets as a precaution. As of 7:45 p.m., there were no reports of injuries.
