Off-Duty DART Officer Pulls Driver From Car

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― An off duty DART police officer pulled another driver from a crunched car after the Good Samaritan watched the early morning accident.

According to reports, Dallas Police said the driver lost control about 1:30 a.m. and crashed into a utility pole on Garland Road near the Dallas Arboretum.

The male driver was taken the hospital, but died about an hour later.
