Man Walks Away From Hood County Jail

GRANBURY (CBS 11 News) ― Hood County officials are looking for a man who "walked away" from the facility Thursday morning.

Mark Darrell Robertson, 36, has brown hair, blue eyes and arm tattoos. He's 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a dark gray or blue hooded sweatshirt with "Lions" on the front, maroon pants and black tennis shoes with neon orange stripes.

According to reports, the escapee was washing patrol cars when he disappeared. Authorities believe he planned the escape.

Robertson originally was jailed on charges of stealing a vehicle.

He is not believed to be dangerous.

Anyone with information should call 9-1-1 or their local police department.
