Kincaid's Camp Bowie Location Will Remain Open

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 News) ― Kincaid's will get to remain at its Camp Bowie location.

Owner Ron Gentry tells CBS 11 he has signed an agreement that will allow the famous hamburger joint to stay at its current location for at least the next 10 years.

Kincaid's has been in business in the same location since 1946, but the building owner recently demanded a 300 percent increase in rent.

Gentry said terms of the deal -- signed this week -- were favorable. It also gives him the option to buy the building down the road if the family chooses.

Kincaid's had faced the prospect of being evicted at the end of the month if no agreement was reached.
