Local Entrepreneurs Earning Extra Cash On eBay

Betsy and John Bolger collect vintage Converse Shoes.
The couple spends about 6-8 hours a day at their dining room table, listing the converse products on eBay. It brings in an extra $1000 a month.
Since Betsy has a lot of experience with buying and selling, she teaches classes to others who want to know the secrets. But she says you don't have to be a seasoned vet to make money.
"You just have to be interested, you have to be somewhat dedicated," she said.

Ann Wood spent five years as an attorney in Dallas before giving up corporate life to raise her family. As a hobby, she began selling items around her house on eBay.
Now she has her own online eBay store where she sells other people's luxury-brand items.
Now her home-based business has 40 clients and grosses an average of $25,000 a month.
While online sales in the United States are a bit down, Wood and the Bolgers have found high demand for their unique items overseas in places like Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
