Residents Win A Round In Greenville Parking Fight

Parking in Dallas' Lower Greenville neighborhood has been a problem for years.  Residents and businesses have butted heads for a long time.

Starting tomorrow some streets will be off limits for parking except to residents.  They're getting special tags on their cars.  Cars that don't have the tags are subject to towing.

Neighborhood activist Avi Adelman's homeowners association petitioned and then paid for the residential parking-only designation.

Peace and quiet aren't terms normally used to describe Lower Greenville.  But people who live in the area hope that the new parking rules will help make their neighborhood a little more quiet.
