Halloween-Masked Gunmen Commit Dallas Robberies
DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ―
Halloween isn't over for four men who wore costume masks to pull off three takeover robberies last night in Dallas.
The Halloween mask wearing criminals took over a restaurant, a check cashing business and a nail salon in northeast Dallas.
Employees at the nail salon say they were terrorized.
According to police, in the last two weeks a group of four robbers have hit at least seven businesses in northeast Dallas.
There is surveillance video from inside a North Central Expressway Chinese restaurant that was robbed on Monday. It was around 9pm that the robbers entered the restaurant through a back kitchen door.
Witnesses say the group pointed guns at employees and even fired a shot through the wall. One of the armed robbers then walked through the dining area in front of startled customers. It's unclear if any of the customers were robbed, but no one was apparently injured.
Because of the Halloween masks, police don't have a good description of the robbers.
