Twitter Prankster Gives Voice To Perry's Hair

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) ― Maybe Rick Perry's famously kept hair has the same independent streak as the Texas governor.

The notoriously well coifed hairdo of Perry — who recently drew national attention after a discussion about seceding from the union — apparently has struck out on its own with a page on the social networking site Twitter.

The prankster who set up the account name "GovPerrysHair" posts such updates as: "Snug on the Governor's pillow. Convenient the Governor leaves his Blackberry on for me while sleeping. Back to leading Texas tomorrow... "

Perry's salt-and-pepper hair — so perfectly groomed that some jokingly refer to him as Gov. Good Hair — is pictured in a small photo on the site.

Among the dozens of Twitter followers of Perry's hair is Perry himself.

"Imitation is most sincere form of flattery," the governor posted Wednesday afternoon.
