Dallas Homeowners Complain About Prostitution

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Homeowners say they are tired of street prostitution in Pleasant Grove. Residents complain about being inundated with hookers and their customers in the community.

While the problem exists all over Dallas, the prostitutes here have no problem operating in broad daylight.

Dallas police patrols have increased in Southeast Dallas neighborhoods, with an emphasis on prostitution. But according to Dallas Police Sgt. Phillip Elliott, the economy, drug addiction and family issues are adding to the problem.

Drug addiction, quick money for sex, and this working class community caught in the middle.
