Parts Of Preston Road Closed After Accident

Commuters Will Have Delays After Overturned Truck

FRISCO (CBS 11 News) ― Two people were injured when a tanker truck veered off the roadway and landed in a ditch east of Preston Road, just south of Eldorado Parkway, officials said.

Morning commuters will encounter Preston Road closures in both directions between Fisher Road and Eldorado. 

Check The Traffic Section For Alternate Routes

Authorities said the truck has the capacity to carry up to 1700 gallons of diesel fuel. Crews are working transfer the fuel to another truck, although it was not clear exactly how much was on the truck at the time of the accident.

According to reports, both the driver and passenger were in the truck when it veered off the road about 2:40 a.m. Both were taken to hospitals.
