3 Face Murder Charges In Richardson Woman's Death

RICHARDSON (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Police are still trying to identify a woman who was found dead inside a Richardson home Saturday.

Meanwhile, three men are now in custody, charged with murder. Police have identified them as James Matisi, Eric Ziegler and Timothy Jones. Matisi is the owner of the home where the woman was found; Andrews and Jones are acquaintances. Police are also trying to figure out how the men knew the victim.

"It's a rude awakening," said neighbor DeMarius Chitman. "You never know who you're around or what your surroundings are."

Police say a 10-year-old boy was inside the home and called 911. He is Matisi's son, and currently in protective custody. Police confirmed the female victim is not the boy's mother.

"We're sorry for the little boy because the boy is only 10-years-old, and he used to play with my nephew," said neighbor Hui Kang.

Police haven't release a possible motive, but they did say there has been drug activity inside the home.

Records show the suspects also have a criminal history. Matisi has previously been arrested for assault and domestic violence. Ziegler has previously been arrested for various drug-related offenses.
