Rockwall D.A. Indicted On Felony Charges

AUSTIN (CBS 11 News) ― Rockwall County District Attorney Galen Ray Sumrow is facing charges of abusing his office.

Tuesday, a Travis County grand jury indicted Sumrow on three felony counts.

Officials say Sumrow had taxpayer money deposited into his personal checking account in 2003 and 2004.

If convicted, Sumrow could face up to 10 years in a state penitentiary.
