T.D. Jakes' Daughter Weds At The Potter's House

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― The red carpet was rolled out at The Potter's House church in Dallas on Saturday as the pastor's daughter got married.

Sarah Jakes, the 20-year-old daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, married fellow TCU student Robert Henson.

Some of the biggest names in Dallas were in attendance: Dr. Phil McGraw, Deion Sanders, Emmit Smith, Tyler Perry and singer Tyrese all brought good wishes for the couple.

"This couple, they are made for each other," said McGraw, a longtime family friend. "This is something they wanted and looked forward to, the bishop and his wife."

Some of the guests even gave the young couple advice.

"Be very patient and lenient and just go with the flow," offered Emmit Smith. 

 Deion Sanders and his wife Pilar advised the couple to keep the lines of communication open and find time for quality time together.

The couple plans to honeymoon in the Hawaiian Islands.  They'll reside in Fort Worth.
