Frisco Woman Says She Does Not Know Attacker

(AP) A 25-year-old Frisco woman told police she did not know the attacker who broke into her apartment, tied her up and stabbed her.

Officials said the woman was able to go across the hall to a neighbor's apartment and they called the police.

According to reports, the woman was stabbed eight times in the stomach. She was transported by CareFlite to Baylor of Dallas with life threatening injuries. Authorities said she was in surgery.

The Vinyard Apartments, located in the 9300 block of Wade Boulevard, is a gated community just east of Preston Road.
