Jackie Browne is getting her dream wedding, or pretty close to it.

The 27-year-old has started a website and is trying to get people to donate a wedding to her.

The website is called The Poor Bride.

Browne says she wants to give her fiance Jaime Coffey a wedding. She says she can't get a job after both were laid off and is now hoping North Texans will donate money towards their wedding.

"I was like kind of embarrassed," says Browne "But I had to do it and see what would happen."

Within weeks the couple had a few donations. "We weren't expecting so many people to be generous," says Browne.

Browne admits she's never thought much about her wedding day until now.

As she shops for her dream dress she says she's feeling pretty good. "I like strapless ones with a corset back," explains the single mother.

She is posting everywhere and has gotten some mixed reaction, including people on craigslist telling her that she's dumb and is asking for too much.

So far her dress and his tuxedo have been donated, along with make-up for her wedding day. A local bridal shop has offered to have reception and ceremony too, along with providing a photographer.

Browne's cake and flowers have also been donated.
