Dallas Daycare Ordered To Close Immediately

DALLAS (CBS 11 News) ― Officials with Child Protective Services say an extensive investigation has found there is a "significant risk to children" at both Tyne Gifted Achievers daycare centers.

As a result, both centers have had their license suspended and have been ordered to close immediately. The centers are located at 2411 Emmitt and 3111 Dutton in Dallas.

The owner of the centers, listed as Willa Monroe, will have to notify parents and post the notification of the suspension at both locations.

The investigation comes after detectives found a 19-month-old toddler had been left in a daycare van for about six hours on Monday. Kamila Brown was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The medical examiner says an autopsy was inconclusive and still has not released an official cause of death.
