A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for areas along and north of I-20 including Dallas and Tarrant County. The Watch is in effect until 2 a.m.
The line of thunderstorms built up in Oklahoma and headed southeast into the metro area bringing golf-ball sized hail and 60 mph winds. Tennis-ball size hail was reported a mile west of Keller.
The worst of the storm seemed to hit from Haslet to Keller and from Southlake to Grapevine. A lightning strike may have caused a fire in Arlington.
The storms hit quickly, leaving damage to cars and cool air.
