Nowitzki's Ex Not Pregnant

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Sources close to Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki say the basketball star's ex-girlfriend is not pregnant.

A pregnancy test proved Crista Taylor, Nowitzki's former girlfriend, was not pregant with his child.

Taylor was jailed earlier this year for outstanding warrants in Beaumont.  She is now in a Missouri jail following parole violations from a previous arrest.

During a bond hearing while in custody in Missouri, Taylor's lawyer told a Judge his client has has a "higher-risk pregnancy" and needs outside medical care.

Taylor was arrested at Nowitzki's Dallas home in May.  Nowitzki had previously filed for custody if any paternity test proved he was the father of Taylor's child.

Nowitzki is currently in South Africa, participating in the NBA Basketball Without Borders program.

On his twitter page, Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban said "Good news on Dirks ex. No surprise. can't wait 4 Training Camp."
