Police Search For Stolen Rembrandt Etching

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Police are searching for two suspects who stole an expensive Rembrandt etching called "Adam and Eve" from the Hilligoss Art Gallery in Chicago.

Gallery owner Tom Hilligoss said a couple walked into the gallery 's presentation room a little after 3 p.m. Sunday, and left within five minutes. The Rembrandt was gone and the couple had left the gallery.

The man is described as having gray hair (salt and pepper), glasses, a square jaw, muscular build, dark navy jacket and dark pants and he's in his late 50s.

The woman is described as 5'4", with platinum blond hair. She is in her late 40s and wearing a tan coat.

The etching is worth nearly $60,000 and is 400-years-old.

Hillingoss said this is the first time the gallery has been robbed.

Anyone with information, should contact Chicago Police.
