Jet Makes Emergency Landing In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (AP) ― A Southwest Airlines 737 had to make a quick return to Sacramento International Airport this morning after it apparently developed engine problems in flight.

Airport spokeswoman Gina Swankie says the plane had no passengers because it was being ferried to a different airport.

The plane declared an alert but landed safely. Airline mechanics are trying to find the problem.
