FW Woman Says Two Pit Bulls Killed Her Puppy

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― A Fort Worth woman watched in horror as her beloved pet was attacked and killed.

Sharon Hatridge was trimming limbs in her backyard when two pit bulls somehow managed to get into her yard and attacked her dog.

Hatridge said the loss is especially difficult because she bought the 10-month-old miniature pinscher for her husband, who passed away just six months ago.

Hatridge said she will now file paper work to have the dogs deemed dangerous, which would mean the dogs' owners would either have to put them to sleep or carry liability insurance on both animals.
