'Survivor 15' Open Casting Call

North Texans Can Audition For Their Chance At $1 Million

DALLAS/FORT WORTH (CBS 11 News) ―

CBS 11 will host an open casting call for "Survivor 15: Top Secret Location," Friday, January 19th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bankston Dodge Superstore in Grand Prairie at 2615 I-20 at Great Southwest Parkway.

Prospective "Survivors" will each record a short video which will be submitted to the show producers for consideration. The producers will select finalists based upon the following qualities: strong-willed, outgoing, adventurous, physical and mental adeptness, adaptability to new environments and interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities.

Applicants must be:
-- 21 years of age or older at the time of application
-- United States citizens and must be living in the United States
-- In excellent physical and mental health
-- Willing to authorize producers to conduct a background check

Potential contestants should bring:
-- A photocopy of his/her driver's license or U.S. Passport
-- A passport-sized photo
-- Completed copy of the official application, which can be downloaded here

In addition, applicants may expedite the audition process by obtaining a "Priority Certificate," which is available to download free of charge here.

CBS Radio stations 100.3 Jack FM, 98.7 KLUV, Live 105.3 Free FM, KRLD NewsRadio 1080 and the New 103.7 lite fm will participate in the event with live appearances and broadcasts throughout the day.
