iPhone users can now go to church on their phones, CBS station WBZ-TV reports.
Boston-based
CatholicTV has put together a new iPhone application that gives users access to full-length video of daily mass, the full rosary and Catholic news.
The application is free and can be downloaded on the iPhone and the iPod touch.
The new "app" is called
"CatholicTV."
The Daily Mass offered in the CatholicTV app features different priests every day. The rosary is filmed in different places including Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, and other locations as well.
Catholic TV was founded 50 years ago and is broadcast nationally and in Canada. Father Robert Reed, a priest of the Archdiocese of Boston, is the director of CatholicTV.
