Artist Kara Walker is known for exploring race, sexuality and gender in her work. Her exhibit "My Complement, My Enemy, My Oppressor, My Love" will be on display at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth beginning July 5th. The exhibit features artwork inspired by life in the south prior to the civil war. The exhibit features works ranging from Walker's signature black cut-paper silhouettes to film animations to more than 100 works on paper.
