As 2008 draws to a close, take a look at which recording artists received the most love from online music fans. Here are some of the most popular singers and bands from the past year, according to Apple's iTunes service.

British band Coldplay saw their release "Viva La Vida" become the top selling album on iTunes in 2008. The title track was the second most downloaded single.
