Plight Of Rescued Animals

Humane society groups across the U.S. are rescuing more and more exotic animals from people who have not cared for the creatures. CBS 11 has followed a pair of bears rescued from a South Texas ranch in 2006 and now have a new home.

Two black bears rescued during a raid in Gonzalez County last year, and housed at the Humane Society of North Texas, will now have a permanent home. When construction is finished on a new enclosure, the two bears will reside at the newly named International Exotic Animal Sanctuary.
