Drew Bledsoe came to Dallas in 2005 and was again reunited with former coach Bill Parcells. Bledsoe threw for more than 3,000 yards for the 9th time in his career, tying Warren Moon for fourth in NFL history. That season Bledsoe led five 4th quarter/OT game-winning drives to keep the Cowboys' playoff hopes alive. Bledsoe had led them to a 9-7 record. In 2006, he was replaced by Tony Romo and then released at the end of the season, which led to his retirement from the NFL.
