Sen. Ted Kennedy Has Malignant Brain Tumor

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, 76, has a malignant brain tumor. Doctors for the Massachusetts Democrat say tests conducted after Kennedy suffered a seizure on May 17, 2008, show a tumor in his left parietal lobe believed to be caused by a malignant glioma.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy suffered a seizure on May 17, 2008, at his home in Cape Cod, and was airlifted to a Boston hospital. Doctors revealed May 20 that the Massachusetts Democrat is suffering from a malignant brain tumor.
