UIL State Championship Football Games Set
3 Local Teams Will Play Saturday For Respective Crowns, 2A Division I Farmersville Wins State Title In OT

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) anounced Saturday what high school football teams would be playing for their respective state titles.
Euless Trinity High School will play Converse Junction for the Class 5A Division I title on Saturday, December 22, at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The Highland Park Scots will also play next Saturday, facing Austin's Lake Travis High School at Baylor's Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco for the Class 4A Division II title.
In Class 3A Division II Collin County's Celina High School will be facing Waco's China Sping High School at a location and time still to be annouced.
Some division championship games were held this weekend. Another Collin County school, Farmersville High School, claimed the 2A Division I crown with an overtime win over Tatum on Saturday.
