Former Cowboys Player Arrested At Irving Hotel

IRVING (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Another football player associated with the Dallas Cowboys has found himself in trouble with the law. At least this time he is a former player and not a current one.

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terry Glenn was arrested by police at a hotel in Irving on the night of January 25. Officers from the Irving Police Department were called to the Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel near the intersection of Meadow Creek Drive and Highway 114 because, according to published reports on The Dallas Observer's website, Glenn was seen wandering naked through the hallways.

While authorities do not confirm this part of the story, they did tell CBS 11 News that Glenn was taken in and hit with multiple charges including public intoxication and possession of marijuana. He also had four outstanding traffic warrants in Roanoke.

Glenn posted bond the following morning and was released from police custody.

This is the third time that Glenn has been arrested. The first was in 2001, after accusations of assaulting the mother of his then 5-year-old son. The second came in 2005, again for public intoxication.

Glenn was the leading receiver for the Dallas Cowboys in 2005 with 132 catches, almost 2,200 yards and 13 touchdowns. However, a knee injury kept him from playing in the first 15 games of the 2007 season. He was released from the team in 2008 after refusing to sign an injury waiver prior to training camp.
