Cristal Taylor, who is reportedly engaged to Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki, was arrested in Dallas on fraud charges.

Dallas police officers arrested 37-year-old Cristal Taylor Wednesday morning at Dallas Mavericks player Dirk Nowitzki's house on a fraud warrant. Thursday she remained in the Dallas County Jail on $20,000 bond.
CBS 11 News has learned that a team of three attorneys converged on Dirk's house, along with several members of law enforcement, Wednesday. Among them a retired FBI agent who is now a private investigator that was either hired by Dirk or his attorneys. At least one of the attorneys specializes in family law.
Sources say authorities had gone to the house to arrest Taylor and serve an eviction.
Before being taken into custody, Taylor was reportedly allowed to go into a bedroom to change clothes. After a period of time authorities became concerned that she might flee. They then found Taylor in the backyard; she was on the phone with her friend telling her to come pick her up.
Sources also say when Taylor was being arrested she was concerned about parting with the $250,000 ring she was wearing.
A woman who claims to be Taylor's best friend is providing more details to CBS 11 News regarding the relationship between the two.

The friend says Nowitzki and Cristal Taylor were engaged--and that she is pregnant.
The friend, who wants to remain anonymous, says the two have been living together for over a year and he asked her to get married on New Year's Eve.
The friend also says that Taylor has no idea if Nowitzki was involved in her getting arrested and claims that they had a stable, healthy relationship until Wednesday.
After practice on Thursday, Nowitzki said, "Well it's pretty obvious I'm going through a tough time in my personal life right now. But, like I always have, I wanna kinda keep my private life private and I don't want to… really I'm not at the stage where I can talk about it yet and feel comfortable talking about it."
When CBS 11 Sports Steve Dennis asked Dirk how concerned he was that it will be difficult for him to have his mind completely on basketball come Saturday the forward responded "I'll be ready."
Dirk said he didn't feel the need to talk to the team and tell them that's he's okay because, "They know I'm a warrior and I'll be ready to play."
Sources tell CBS 11 News that a Nowitzki hired a private investigator to check into Taylor's background and that the investigator found that she was using an alias.
Kim Leach, a spokeswoman for the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, tells CBS 11 News that Taylor has at least eight aliases: Chrystal Ann Taylor, Crystal Ann Taylor, Debra Johnson, Shana Mancini, Krista Santiago, Crystal Ann Santiago, Cristal Westerhaus and Crista A. Westerhays.
Taylor's friend also says Nowitzki knew Taylor had a checkered past, but adds that neither she nor Nowitzki knew Taylor had outstanding warrants.
The friend says that when Taylor was taken to the Dallas County Jail Wednesday, the staff took a urine sample and told her she's pregnant. An individual who spent the night in jail with Taylor also tells CBS 11 News that Taylor is claiming to be pregnant.
Calls to the jail to verify the reports of pregnancy have not been returned.
