Dallas Stars Sign Loui Eriksson To 2-Year Deal

The Dallas Stars have signed left wing Loui Eriksson to a two-year contract extension worth $3.2 million.
A statement issued by the Stars on Friday says Eriksson will earn $1.5 million next season and $1.7 million the season after.
The 22-year-old Swede scored 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points in 69 games with the Stars this season, all career highs. He also scored four goals and four assists for eight points in 18 playoff games this past spring.
In 128 career NHL games, the 6-foot-1, 183-pound forward has 20 goals and 30 assists for 50 points with 46 penalty minutes.
The Stars took him in the second round, No. 33 overall, in the 2003 Entry Draft.
