Arlington Man Indicted On Child Porn Charge

ARLINGTON (CBS 11 News) ―

An Arlington man was indicted Thursday on one count of receiving child pornography.

The indictment alleges Stephen E. Watson, 48, used the Internet to download still images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct from a Website called "Home Collection."

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials executed a federal search warrant at Watson house on April 30, 2008.  After searching his computer, they found numerous images of child pornography, including images of child pornography of known victims.

He was arrested the next day and if convicted, Watson faces a maximum sentence of between five and 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse.
