21 Ways To Say "I Love You" Throughout The Year
Mike Bloomberg

Zero or Little Cost
1. Even if you're in a relationship, by the middle of the week, ask out your significant other for a specific night of the weekend. It will feel like you two are starting to "date" all over again.
2. Text a "sexy" message to your significant other.
3. Mail a card to your "other" at home or work for no reason. They will never expect this.
4. Eat dinner outside
in the backyard, on the porch or on a park bench. There will be no phone, TV. or any distractions. The two of you can just focus on each other.
5. Both of you call in sick and have a "play" day.
6. While watching a movie at home, gently brush your other's hair. A scalp massage can be substituted for brushing. Be prepared for "purring."
7. In your other travels, hide a card or romantic note in his or her suitcase.
8. If you and your other don't live together or are going to be apart, lightly spray the underside of his or her pillow with your perfume or cologne. You will be remembered and be the last thing on his or her mind before bedtime.
9. Personalized Menu (home or restaurant): If cooking at home, print out a personalized menu (with her name, your name and the date) and the evening's courses. If dining out, call a day in advance and most restaurants will be happy to oblige.
A Little Investment; Big Return
10. Send flowers for no reason at all. Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are too predictable. It doesn't always have to be roses; send her favorite flower instead. Ladies
it's o.k. to send them to your man. A cookie bouquet or candy bouquet is a great alternative.
11. Cook a romantic dinner for your significant other. The rule
you cannot feed yourself. You have to feed each other. Utensils are optional.
12. Personalized Wrapping Paper (picturepaper.com): You can't imagine her face when she sees a gift on the bed wrapped in paper that has a picture of you two in Maui. Place it in the center of roses in the shape of a heart and you'll "hit one out of the park."
13. Etched Champagne Flutes: Set this up with the restaurant first. When ordering wine or champagne, have them bring out these personalized flutes. This added touch often brings tears.
14. Couples massage: Getting rubbed right next to your honey in a serene, quiet atmosphere. Sign me up!
A Short Drive
15. Fossil Rim (fossilrim.org) A great wildlife reserve in Glen Rose, a short drive from Fort Worth. Once there, you will feel like you are in Africa. Even better, they have overnight accommodations.
16. Japanese Garden (Fort Worth): For about $3, you guys can take a walk of zen. Listen to the fountains, sit under a pagoda and don't forget to bring a couple of quarters for food
you get to feed the fish.
17. Cedars on the Brazos (cedarsonthebrazos.com): A bed and breakfast in Glen Rose. The great thing about this place is that it is masculine
it's a stunning and huge log cabin home. The owners are great and the best part
a complimentary dessert buffet at night and an amazing breakfast in the morning.
Outside-the-Box Ideas
18. One hour w/ professional photographer How much fun would it be to surprise your spouse with a photo shoot with a photographer? This is less expensive than most people think and your "other" will feel like she's going to be on the cover of People.
19. Jack-in-the-box (popartcreations.com): This personalized jack-in-the-box with your sweetie's likeness is perfect for a "no reason at all" gift and for the couple with a sense of humor.
20. Bobble Head (whoopassenterprises.com) Less expensive than the jack-in-the-box, but, still packs a punch when unwrapped. Again, this is for the couple with a sense of humor. This is definitely not a present for your one year anniversary.
21. Photo booth Pics: Often seen at the mall or fairs. These are so much fun. You usually get 4 pictures on one photo strip. There is a rule when you guys get in the booth
one of the pictures has to be a lip lock.
